Siman 283 — Why we don't take out 2 Sifrei Torah on Shabbos

The Alter Rebbe's shitah on the single se'if that explains why on a regular Shabbos we take out only one Sefer Torah (unlike Yom Tov or Shabbos Rosh Chodesh). A structural distinction at the heart of the halacha.
