And it contains six seifim (ו׳ סעיפים): at the end of the Amida one bows and steps back three paces (כורע ופוסע ג׳ פסיעות לאחריו בכריעה אחת) ; while still bowing, before straightening, one turns the face left at «עושה שלום במרומיו» and right at «הוא יעשה שלום עלינו», then bows forward כעבד הנפטר מרבו. Where the three steps end he stands and לא יחזור למקומו עד שיגיע ש״ץ לקדושה — does not return to his place until the ש״ץ reaches the קדושה, or at least until he begins aloud. When stepping, עוקר רגל שמאל תחלה ; the measure of the steps כדי שיתן גודל בצד עקב, without פסיעות גסות ; המוסיף על ג׳ פסיעות הוי יוהרא.
