Why a dedicated Level 4 on the Alter Rebbe? The Shulchan Aruch HaRav is not a commentary on the Mechaber — it is an autonomous and complete Shulchan Aruch, authored by the Alter Rebbe. Its uniqueness: it combines halacha + ta'amei ha-mitzvos + inner dimension in a single work, paskening with a unique Talmudic rigor.
For Chabad, the Alter Rebbe is הפוסק האחרון (the final posek). This page gathers, for Siman ש, the full text of the Rav, his original chiddush, and the divrei haRebbe that illuminate the topic.

That one should arrange his table on motzaei Shabbos — and it contains 4 seifim:
One should always arrange his table on motzaei Shabbos with all kinds of arrangement customary for him in setting the table for a full meal, even though now he will eat only a kazayis, whether because he has no more, or because he does not desire more; in any event he should make a preparation in the arrangement of the table, such as spreading a cloth (parisas mappah) and the like, as for a full meal, in order to escort Shabbos at its departure with honor, as at its entrance, as explained in siman 262:
And therefore some have the custom to multiply neros on motzaei Shabbos more than on other weekday nights.
And one also has the custom to recite piyutim and zemiros after Havdalah, in order to escort Shabbos after it has departed, in the manner in which one escorts a king after he has left the city:
And it is good to cook meat (basar) or some other dish on motzaei Shabbos in honor of this meal (Melaveh Malkah).
And in our time, when one delays the third meal (seudah shelishis) so much that one is unable to eat [again] on motzaei Shabbos — one may fulfill this meal with fruits.
(And there is no need to advance the third meal so that one will eat this meal properly, since this meal is not such a strict obligation, but rather only a mitzvah min ha-muvchar):
Some of the medakdekim (those scrupulous in their conduct) had a tallis (a particular) of mitzvah set aside for Shabbos, and every motzaei Shabbos they would fold it, in order to occupy themselves with a mitzvah immediately [at the conclusion of Shabbos]:

The chiddushim unique to the Rav on this siman
Originalities that distinguish the Alter Rebbe in Siman ש. Each chiddush follows the structure: classical position → chiddush of the Rav → practical consequence.
חידוש א — escorting the Queen (300:1-2)
Chiddush א — escorting the Queen (300:1-2)
Melaveh Malka as a royal dimension
The chiddush of the Rav: the Alter Rebbe articulates: Shabbos is a Queen — we escort her at her departure as we escort a guest of honor. A royal-relational dimension.
Practical consequence: tool for the Chabad chassid: systematically organize Melaveh Malka, even modestly.
The words of the Rebbe on the themes of Siman ש
Sicha of the Rebbe — Melaveh Malka: setting the table. The Rebbe notes that the Talmud implies that setting the table after Shabbat (Melaveh Malka) matters even more than the eating itself; he ties this meal to the manna of the wilderness and to the "luz" bone, nourished only by this meal — directly bearing on siman ש (the meal escorting the Shabbat Queen). (Likkutei Sichot vol. 36, pp. 70, 74-76.)
Beyond the confirmed source above, we attribute to the Rebbe only verifiable primary sources (a letter, sicha, or identifiable pesak, with a link); no further statement of the Rebbe directly tied to this siman could be confirmed against Sefaria or Chabad.org.
